How do I know this? Like I said; I’ve done it myself.

As a computer technician, I realize that even hard drives that have totally crashed are recoverable. When I say they are recoverable, I mean there is a way to get files stored on them transferred to another hard drive. I also know I cannot do this myself. For this type of job, I would have to send the bad or erased hard drive to specialist who deals only in recovering files stored hard drives. It is a very specialized niche. However, I don’t know whether or not it works with Win7. It just doesn’t say whether or not it does on the company page.

equipment or you have just gone to Wal-Mart and purchased an el cheapo Chinese imported camera, you are still using an amazing new technology that includes computerized equipment for storing computer data files. This is true because computer data files now store the pictures you take.

Basically, the newest “right out-of-the-box” camera does exactly the same thing the old 1950s box camera did. Namely, it takes pictures. However, it was very difficult to manipulate pictures of old compared to how easy it is to crop, resize and make changes for the better on today’s pictures. What’s more amazing is we can do this even after they are taken.

Even though we think of pictures as being stored as well, pictures, we now store them in little bits of ones and zeros known as digital formats. Also, where the old-style cameras could hold, maybe 20 pictures inside of them, their digital counterparts of today can actually hold thousands.

Still, with the good we have to take the bad and though the bad things about digital cameras are few and far between, the pictures we have stored on them become vulnerable in the sense that they can easily be deleted by mistake. Of course, there are times we need to delete some pictures because they were mistakes or because they are unneeded and wasting space. Still, there are times when pictures get deleted and we didn’t want to delete them.
